The technical expert of the GCCA Richard Tracy visited Fruit Logistics
The technical expert of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Richard Tracy and representatives of the USAID Agriculture Program visited Fruit Logistics. The guests visited the company’s warehouse and refrigerators for storing fruits and vegetables. The foreign expert got acquainted with the specifics of cold supply chain management from the side of the company.
At this stage, four refrigerators are operating in Fruit Logistics, which ensures the proper storage and quality of agricultural products through each link to the final consumer. GCCA is an American organization serving more than 1 100 companies in 85 countries with temperature-controlled supply chain services. It is a platform for education and communication in the cold chain industry.
The alliance brings together three main trade associations, in particular, the International Associations of Refrigerated Warehousing (IARW), International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA), and Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA).
